Description
The Aurical HIT hearing aid and radio aid test box is an advanced, portable hearing instrument test box, ideal for Teachers of the Deaf and Educational Audiologists.
In this kit, the HIT is supplied with custom carry case and laptop computer, pre-loaded with the OTOsuite software.
The Aurical HIT is widely used in audiology clinics, allowing easy curve comparisons and sharing of information between professionals.
It comes with a full range of the latest test stimuli including the validated ISTS (international speech test signal) and a lightweight laptop computer (make/model may vary).
The test chamber itself is large enough to test all radio aid transmitters and has a built-in flexible reference microphone, which allows individual positioning for each transmitter, giving accurate results.
It is also easy to test hearing aids outside the chamber for radio aid verification, using the removable accessories tray.
The Aurical HIT OTOsuite software can be configured to demonstrate, both graphically and audibly, the hearing loss of a child both unaided and aided. This is a very useful tool to explain to parents and mainstream teachers the importance of a child wearing their hearing aids and ensuring that they are working properly.
The custom case has been specially designed by Connevans for the Aurical HIT for the safe storage and easy transportation of your HIT. It comes with both shoulder and short carrying straps for comfort and the sides of the case are padded for protection. The lining of the case is matching blue and even better, the Aurical HIT doesn't need to be removed from the case for use - all the cables can be left connected inside the case - simply unzip the case, open the testbox and you're ready to go!
