The FP1720W2 / WHT-630 heat alarm has been designed to give the earliest possible warning of fire via a network of wireless interlinked heat/smoke alarms.

Heat alarms are ideal in areas where dust, fumes and moisture can cause nuisance alarms in smoke alarms, such as kitchens, boiler rooms, laundry rooms, lofts and garages.

This heat alarm can be used in conjunction with Wi-Safe 2 smoke alarms to provide complete protection for the home.

It incorporates the groundbreaking Thermistek™ technology, provides a quicker response to fast flaming fires. By constantly monitoring for temperature change, it will sound the alarm earlier, if it predicts that the temperature will rise to a predetermined threshold. This predictive quality provides a quicker response time in rapidly increasing temperatures.

The WHT-630 is a fixed point heat alarm using Thermistek sensing technology. This alarm has class A1 fire detection and will activate when the temperature reaches a pre-set range of 54°C to 65°C.

Each heat alarm communicates with other heat or smoke alarms by continuously sending and receiving wireless signals creating a 'meshed network.' This ensures that all alarms will trigger simultaneously in the event that a single unit enters alarm mode.
